In short
This website sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, loads no content from third-party servers and uses no analytics or tracking services. The only data processed is what arises technically when a page is requested, plus whatever you type into the contact form yourself.
Hosting and server log files
This website is operated with a web hosting provider based in Germany. The provider processes the data solely on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. We will name the provider on request.
When a page is requested, access data is automatically written to server log files:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of the request
- name and URL of the file requested
- volume of data transferred and status code
- browser type and operating system
- referring page, where transmitted
The purpose is delivering the page, operational security and investigating misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in secure, uninterrupted operation. This data is neither merged with other sources nor evaluated on an individual level. The log files are deleted automatically after a short period.
Contact form
If you write to us through the contact form, we process the details you enter: name, email address, optionally company and subject, and the content of your message.
The message is delivered over an encrypted connection to our own mailbox. No external form or newsletter service is involved.
The sole purpose is handling your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a contract or its initiation, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
We keep the details until the enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and there is no further reason to retain them. Statutory retention obligations, in particular under commercial and tax law, remain unaffected.
Spam protection on the form
To keep automated programs from abusing the form, every submission is checked technically. The sender's IP address is not stored in plain text — only a hash derived from it, used to limit the number of submissions per hour.
That value is deleted after one hour at the latest and on its own allows no conclusions about your identity. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in fending off spam and automated attacks. No external captcha service is used.
Contact by email
If you email us directly, we process your sender address and the content of your message in order to answer the enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR. Retention matches what is described for the contact form.
No third-party content, no tracking
This website loads no content from third-party servers. In particular, no external web fonts, maps, videos or social media plugins are embedded. Neither analytics tools nor advertising networks are used.
No cookies are set and no information is stored on or read from your device. Consent under § 25 TDDDG is therefore not required — and for the same reason there is no cookie banner.
Recipients and third countries
Your data is passed on only where necessary for the purposes described. The recipient is our hosting provider, acting as a processor. No transfer to countries outside the European Union takes place.
There is no automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
Your rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data at any time:
- access to the data processed (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- objection to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR)
An informal email to helpdesk@4tcore.net is enough.
Right to lodge a complaint
Irrespective of the above, you may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is:
Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen
Prinzenstraße 5
30159 Hannover
Germany
